About Feng Shui
Feng Shui is a Chinese millennial discipline that has its roots in Taoism. The name Kan Yu precedes that of Feng Shui. It is the way of heaven and earth. At that time, the practitioner worked in harmony with the spirits of the Earth (Kan) and Heaven (Yu).
Feng Shui literally means Wind and Water. The wind is similar to Qi (which can be translated as flow or breath).
Water is similar to fertility in the present. There is the visible Qi which is represented by a stream, a mountain, etc. and the invisible Qi which corresponds to the celestial energies. Feng Shui studies the relationship between man and his environment. It is the science of harmony between heaven and earth, a magical and mathematical tradition. In China, man is represented between heaven and earth, he lives in harmony with nature and the seasons. Feng Shui is an arrangement of space and time on a human scale.
Since its origins, Feng Shui has never ceased to adapt to the evolution of mankind. Formerly reserved for the court and nobles in ancient China, it has become democratized over time and has been successfully established in Western countries. Today, in our urban and polluted environment, these ancestral principles are still relevant today. Indeed, it can be considered that roads have replaced watercourses, large buildings and mountains and therefore, the rules of traditional Feng Shui still apply with the same efficiency.
Feng Shui has adapted to the city and it is an essential key to connect you to Nature, to step back and live at the rhythm of earthly and celestial energies.
Your home, whether in the countryside or in the city, is constantly subject to the energy influences of the place and its surroundings.
The art of Feng Shui aims to harmonize the energies of your place of life by favouring health, prosperity and above all your well-being. A good layout of your home, apartment or workplace is the first step to improving or changing your life.
